We shared with you earlier today that Microsoft is working on a new Windows 10 PC Preview build 10547 which is currently in the internal Fast ring. Following Gabe Aul's tweet, we saw leaked release notes of Windows 10 build 10540. Screenshots of the same preview build have now surfaced online showing various shots of the new update.

Windows 10 Threshold 2 is expected to bring in feature enhancements and improvements to the operating system. Slated for a release later this year, the update won't be carrying any major changes like the Redstone update which is expected in early 2016. While users shouldn't expect any significant changes, Threshold 2 update would still be an important release for Windows 10 as it would be first major non-patch update rolled out to the operating system. Windows 10 is reportedly running on over 81 million devices worldwide. This shows the popularity of the new operating system, but usage is still hiccupped by a plethora of issues discovered in the OS.
Threshold 2 will not only try to improve the performance but will also carry updated user interface elements and other similar minor changes that enhance the overall experience of the operating system. Not only user experience, but it will also optimize the Windows 10 for a better and stable performance as we have been seeing several reports concerning various aspects of the OS that still need to be polished. The same source had also shared the release notes alleging that this build will be part of the Threshold 2 update. Addressing performance issues, these release notes also confirm that Microsoft is finally bringing Jump Lists to the Windows Store apps and a ton of bug fixes.
You can now build jump lists for Windows Store apps (immersive apps). Note that the jump list content will now also be available from tiles in Start and the All apps list, in addition to the taskbar and the Most Used list in Start.
